Our multinational Client is a premium manufacturer of turning and milling machines, as well as automations and complete technology solutions covering the entire machine life cycle. He serves his customers through a Trading Division acting in 80 countries around the world. Our Client seeks currently to expand the activities on territory of Bosnia and Hercegovina.

On behalf of our Client, we are recruiting motivated candidate for the position of:
Area Sales Manager for Bosnia & Herzegovina

Position description

  • Development of new accounts and support of existing customers to generate new business leads
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Development and delivery of product demonstrations and customer presentations
  • Execution of the sales projects including technical clarification, handling requests for proposals and quotes and logistics of the transaction execution
  • Preparation of sales reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales and customer’s information, market analysis reports on competitors’ activities and market trends in CRM
  • Attendance to national and international trade shows, in-house exhibitions and other marketing-related activities
  • Performance of further area sales-related duties as required

 

Requirements:

  • Academic or secondary degree in mechanical / electrical / mechatronics or manufacturing engineering or equivalent professional qualification
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in sales-related function or procurement or application engineering position related to the technology of machine tools, metal fabrication or complex industrial investment goods (no installations e.g. oil/gas)
  • Knowledgeable about potential customer base
  • Impeccable verbal and writing skills in English are essential, command of German or further language or languages of advantage
  • Salesman attitude
  • Hands-on approach
  • Ability to work without close supervision, possessing target- and solution-driven approach
  • Strong presentation skills, including ability to explain complex technical issues in a simple way
  • Willingness to travel (up to 80%)
